Hangzhou Peace International Conference & Exhibition Center (the Center)is subordinated to Zhejiang Peace Industrial and Trade Group which was set up in 90’s of the last century. Hangzhou Peace International Conference & Exhibition Center was built in 1998. In April 2003, Zhejiang Agricultural Exhibition Hall, a provincial and municipal key project invested by the Group with total investment of over 0.25 billion RMB upon the approval of the Zhejiang Provincial Government, was completed and put into use. The agricultural Exhibition Hall seated at the western side of the Center constitutes with the Center the major building of the Peace Square, a key project of the Hangzhou government.

Hangzhou Peace International Conference & Exhibition Center is located at the junction of 4 major traffic trunks in northeast of the city (Dongxin Road, Shaoixng Road, Chaowang Road and Jianguo Road), enjoying convenient traffic and prosperous business, with complete financial, telecommunications and commercial service supporting facilities.

Hangzhou Peace International Conference & Exhibition Center now consists of the new hall (Zhejiang Agricultural Exhibition Hall) with a floorage of 61,000 sq. m., an associated 20-storey business building (locally 21-storey) of 25,370 sq. m and the old exhibition hall of 58,000 sq. m. is able to accommodate 1670 international standard stands, being a master site of Hangzhou West Lake Expo.
